Whole Tissue Sections
Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) whole tissue sections are ideal candidates for localizing DNA, RNA and protein markers. The tissues were fixed by formalin less than 48 hours, and then processed and sectioned. A single (changed in 2023) tissue section with 5 µm (micron, micrometer) thickness is mounted on a SuperFrost Plus glass slide. TissueArray.Com, Inc. paraffin tissue sections are suitable for detection of genes and proteins expression in specific tissues of different species.
Features: 1. Variety of tissue types and species. 2. Suitable for both immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH). 3. One section (changed in 2023), center mountedApplications 1. Localization of mRNA and protein. 2. Identification of tumor markers and disease specific genes. 3. Detection of novel genes and protein markers
